Use three routes to inspect a comparison layout

The apple-pectin extraction archive compares three processing routes. Read each route from its starting material through the process to its result box.

Make differences and shared elements visible

When three routes share a starting object, use consistent names and visual identity for that object. Position processing steps and outcome boxes so the reader can compare corresponding parts. A shared color can indicate identity, but measured effects must still come from the original paper.

Keep a layout observation separate from a research conclusion

The Food Hydrocolloids project archive retains the original image, paper information and attribution in English. This note describes the layout and does not infer extraction yield or a causal mechanism from the drawing.

Use the multi-panel layout guide to check reading order, labels and the final-size result.
