Confirm the journal and artwork category
Record the full journal name rather than relying on the abbreviation NMI. Identify whether the task is a main-text figure, a graphical summary or a cover proposal. Check the current journal and editor instructions for that category; a cover composition is not a manuscript-figure template.
Read different archive statuses
The robot-rat entry retains linked paper and issue records with an archive-date discrepancy note. The protein-site artwork is labeled a concept study. The chip-encryption proposal is recorded as not selected. These entries must not be presented as one uniform set of adopted covers.
Use network imagery with defined meaning
Nodes, fibers, grids and light paths can communicate a research theme but do not themselves establish model architecture or measured performance. Define literal structures separately from visual metaphors, and obtain scientific approval of that distinction.
Prepare the submission record
